Pendragon Campaign
Written by Kevin Haynes

A Pendragon Campaign

Introduction

Pendragon RPG CoverWell after years of just being a character I've been press-ganged into running a role-playing campaign. I'll admit now that I wasn't looking forward to it, but I'd give it my best and see what people thought.

I decided on Pendragon, as it looked fairly straight forward, well it did until I started to get into it, and not many people at the club had played it. I figured that would allow me to hide any minor mistakes I made.

To keep it simple, which was one of the options, I used the basic character generation scheme and came up with four squires. For each character I produced a coat of arms, for when they became knights, and the basic history of their family.

So that I could get a feel for the setting I produced a background document, which was really just an explanation of what each character knew. I, as the book recommended, mapped out the first adventure - which should result in each squire getting knighted.
