PHALANX 2006The clubs annual show was held this September at the Sutton Sports Centre in St.Helens and was once again a great success. We would like to extend our thanks to all who attended – Traders, Clubs and Wargamers alike – for their contributions to the event.

Best Demonstration Game and Best In Show
The awards for the Best Demonstration Game and Best in Show went, once again, to the Curteys Brothers ( Curteys Miniatures) for their excellent Chinese game. Sorry guys you’ll just have to reduce your standards to give someone else a chance! 
Distinguished club member and resident mad person Dave Thomas presents the trophy to Mike, one half of the Curteys Brothers (we believe the other one was already on his way to the pub, is that true Simon?).
Best Participation GameThis year’s award for the Best Participation Game went to the Warrington Club for their pirate game which attracted great attention throughout the day.
Distinguished club member and resident mad person Dave Thomas presents the trophy to a man wearing a pirate’s hat. Kindred spirits.
PHALANX 2007Next years show will see a big change. It will be held at the same venue but will take place on Saturday 23rd June. We look forward to seeing you all there!
